Security Policy
Protecting User Data and Information
We employ appropriate security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. Access to Personal Information is limited to employees and business partners who require such information to operate, enhance, or develop our services, products, and offerings. Any third parties with whom we share your Personal Information are obligated to maintain confidentiality and may face disciplinary action, including termination and legal consequences, for failing to uphold these obligations.
Information that could identify patients, such as names, should not be included in written descriptions, photographs, sonograms, CT scans, pedigrees, etc., unless it is necessary for scientific purposes and the patient (or their parent or guardian, if applicable) provides informed consent for publication.
Authors should ensure that patients' names are removed from figures unless they have obtained informed consent from the patients.
The journal follows the guidelines set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
1) Authors are responsible for obtaining patient consent forms before publication, and these forms should be appropriately archived by the authors themselves, not by the journals or the publisher. Consent forms should not be uploaded with the cover letter or sent via email to editorial or publisher offices.
2) If the manuscript includes patient images that prevent anonymity or contains descriptions that could lead to the identification of the patient, a statement regarding the acquisition of informed patient consent should be included in the manuscript.
Privacy Statement
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
